What is a Crisis?

A crisis is defined by the person experiencing it. Whether they are struggling to cope with life or overwhelmed by difficult emotions, it's up to the parent/caregiver or the young person themself to define the problem as a crisis.

Our mobile response team uses a “just go” approach: Your crisis does not need to meet any type of requirement to qualify for our support. When you call us at (509) 662-7105, we will be there as soon as possible. No problem is too big or too small.

If you notice any of the above behaviors and you don't think you can help the young person on your own, help is available. Catholic Charities' Youth Mobile Crisis Response Team is ready to come to you. Call us at (509) 662-7105 for rapid, in-person support for your situation.
